Position Summary:

Reporting to the Deputy Managing Director, Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day office operations, company properties, general administrative duties, IT support, and assistance with a variety of special projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare documents for management/staff meetings, maintaining files, and creating presentations
  • Manage office reception to ensure the office is well maintained and sufficient supplies are readily available to staff
  • Manage company properties: respond to tenant concerns and requests, submit annual property tax exemptions, and oversee unit repairs and renovations
  • Work with Deputy Managing Director to develop and maintain office operations, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws, and assist in the implementation of new procedures
  • Supervise Receptionist
  • Manage storage facilities and archives of documents
  • Facilitate staff onboarding and off-boarding: prepare new employees’ equipment and licensures, provide training on the organization’s policies and procedures, and ensure that all company equipment and licenses are accounted for
  • Assist staff with software/hardware IT requests and communicate all systematic IT needs to our third-party IT vendor, making sure to collaborate with our Business Tech Officer as needed
  • Work with Accounts Payable to make sure all vendors invoices are approved correctly and promptly
  • Act as a liaison with various vendors on matters related to office repairs, equipment, supplies, and maintenance
  • Plan and run special events, including oversight of décor, tech, and equipment setup
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five(5) years office operations experience
  • Strong analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bilingual/fluent in English and Chinese
  • Excellent technology skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Adobe
  • Preference will be given to those who have office management experience
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and demonstrated decision-making capabilities
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and information

REDC is an affiliate of Asian Americans for Equality, one of the country’s leading community development nonprofits. As an organization deeply rooted in the communities it serves, REDC works hand-in-hand with local business owners to ensure their long-term success. Renaissance also provides financial literacy services and comprehensive technical assistance to small business owners and entrepreneurs each year through individual counseling and classroom sessions.
